How do you connect your Apple Health to Trimetra?

This is how you connect Apple Health to Trimetra, and what the app imports afterwards.

How to connect

  1. Create a Trimetra account, or sign in.
  2. Open Trimetra on your iPhone. This does not work in a browser: the permission goes through iOS itself.
  3. Go to Profile, open Settings and choose Devices & services; tap Apple Health and allow read access.
  4. Done. If nothing arrives, check which categories are switched on under Health in your iPhone settings.

What Trimetra imports

  • Your workouts: sport, duration, distance and energy burned
  • Your sleep: when you slept and for how long
  • Your sleep stages: light, deep and REM
  • Your resting heart rate
  • Your overnight heart rate variability
  • Your daily activity: steps and energy burned
  • Your weight
  • Your body composition: fat and muscle mass
  • Your body temperature
  • Your blood oxygen level
  • Your breathing rate during the night

What is not included

This data does not come from Apple Health. If you still want to use it, connect a second source or enter it yourself.

  • Your blood pressure

What Trimetra sends back

At the moment Trimetra sends nothing back to Apple Health. Traffic goes one way.

What you are giving permission for

Trimetra uses your Apple Health activities to personalize your health insights and training recommendations.

Good to know

Trimetra writes nothing to Apple Health. Traffic goes one way.

One thing does go the other way: you can send a planned workout to the Workout app on your Apple Watch. Swim sessions cannot be sent there.

If you disconnect

You withdraw read access at Apple Health itself, on your phone. Trimetra receives nothing after that; what was already imported stays in your account until you delete it.
