How do you connect your Health Connect to Trimetra?
This is how you connect Health Connect to Trimetra, and what the app imports afterwards.
How to connect
- Create a Trimetra account, or sign in.
- Open Trimetra on your Android phone. This does not work in a browser: the permission goes through Health Connect itself.
- Go to Profile, open Settings and choose Devices & services; tap Health Connect and grant the permissions it asks for.
- Done. You can change those permissions later in Health Connect itself.
What Trimetra imports
- Your workouts: sport, duration, distance and energy burned
- Your sleep: when you slept and for how long
- Your sleep stages: light, deep and REM
- Your resting heart rate
- Your overnight heart rate variability
- Your daily activity: steps and energy burned
- Your weight
- Your body temperature
What is not coming through yet
This is ready, but it only arrives with a next version of the Trimetra app. Until that version is in the store, Trimetra does not import it from Health Connect and you will not see it anywhere. It is a new read permission, so you grant it once more after that.
- Your blood oxygen level
- Your breathing rate during the night
What is not included
Trimetra does not fetch this data from Health Connect. If you still want to use it, connect a second source or enter it yourself.
- Your blood pressure
- The track you ran or rode, including elevation gain
What Trimetra sends back
At the moment Trimetra sends nothing back to Health Connect. Traffic goes one way.
What you are giving permission for
Trimetra uses your Health Connect activities to personalize your health insights and training recommendations.
Good to know
Trimetra writes nothing to Health Connect. Traffic goes one way.
If you disconnect
You withdraw read access at Health Connect itself, on your phone. Trimetra receives nothing after that; what was already imported stays in your account until you delete it.
